Kimberly:
“Restless Legs Syndrome, to me, is just the inability to keep your legs still. It’s just a terrible urge to keep moving at a time when my body is supposed to be relaxing. When I’m trying to watch a movie, when I’m trying to go to sleep, when I’m trying to sit down at a meal with my family, I just can’t sit still. My legs just feel like they’re in constant motion, like I’ve got to move them.”

Mary Ellen:
“The restless legs symptoms affect my sleep because I can’t sleep for more than 15 or 20 minutes without having the sensation that I have to move my legs. I will fall asleep, but then it’s a sensation that wakes you up and you have to be in motion that frequently.”
