How it can affect you

Often, people with Restless Legs Syndrome may lose sleep because of their symptoms. Without enough rest, you may feel tired. It may be hard to concentrate. You may feel grouchy and irritable. Over time, this may affect your work and daily activities.

Restless Legs Syndrome can also make it hard to do some things you enjoy. Sitting still can be tough. You may find it hard to sit through a meeting or movie. You may avoid long car rides or plane flights.

Some people have symptoms now and then. Others get symptoms every day. Many people find that the condition gets worse with time.

If your symptoms bother you, see your doctor.
