If you tend to get an upset stomach, or nausea and vomiting, during your migraines, your healthcare provider may suggest medicine for it. Many come as a suppository (a medicine that is inserted into the rectum) or shot, so you don’t have to try to keep a pill down.

Some possible side effects of nausea medicine include:

  • Confusion

  • Drowsiness

  • Dizziness

  • Excitability

  • Muscle movements you can’t control
